The Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback woes have gone from bad to worse as backup Tyler Huntley was reportedly confirmed to have suffered a season-ending injury.
Huntley replaced Lamar Jackson in Sunday’s 35-6 defeat against the Buffalo Bills after the starting quarterback suffered an injury on the first play.
Now, with Jackson already sidelined indefinitely, Huntley has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, piling on the misery for the Ravens, according to ESPN.
Huntley was injured in the second quarter of the blowout defeat to the Bills following a tackle by Buffalo defensive lineman Ed Oliver.
Tests reportedly revealed that Huntley suffered turf toe, the same injury that sidelined Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow for nine games last season.
Huntley is expected to undergo surgery and go on injured reserve, leaving Baltimore’s quarterback room in a bind.

Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano stepped in for the Ravens on Sunday and is expected to start for Thursday night’s clash against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The emergency third-string quarterback, who played at UConn, completed his first two passes for 28 yards but ultimately finished 10 for 21 for 91 yards, no touchdowns and an interception on a tough day for the Ravens.
The Ravens lost Jackson on the first snap of his return from a three-game absence related to an ankle injury.
The star, who is on a $260 million contract, dropped back and bounced a pass attempt to star wide receiver Zay Flowers. Jackson was unable to finish his follow-through and his right hand struck Buffalo pass rusher Greg Rousseau’s arm.
He immediately left the field and was quickly ruled out by medical staff, with head coach Jesse Minter confirming after the game that the quarterback needs thumb surgery and would immediately be placed on injured reserve.
That designation means he will miss at least the next four games, but the injury could yet end his miserable 2026 season.
The Ravens, left scrambling, made a desperate move on Tuesday as they signed an extra signal caller.
NFL insider Tom Pelissero revealed the Ravens signed Kedon Slovis from the Green Bay Packers practice squad to their 53-man roster.
Slovis, who has bounced around the NFL and only thrown two NFL passes, is likely on the roster simply to be an extra option if needed.
