Katsina United have expressed disappointment after being held to a 1-1 draw by Rivers United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, on Wednesday.
The Changi Boys went into rescheduled fixture aiming for back-to-back home wins after beating Doma United 2-1 last weekend, but were forced to settle for a point.
Rivers United took the lead two minutes after the restart when Samson Olasupo struck in the 48th minute to put the Pride of Rivers ahead.
But Sani Mubarak restored parity for the hosts with a well-taken free-kick in the 50th minute.
Katsina United pushed for a winner but could not break down a resolute Rivers United defence that has conceded just two goals in six games this season.

Reacting after the game, Katsina United said via their X handle handle:”Not the result we wanted, but it was a great performance from the boys.
We take the positives and now turn our focus to our trip to Lagos to face Inter Lagos FC.”
The draw leaves Katsina United on eight points after six matches (two wins, two draws, two defeats), sitting 11th on the table.
For Rivers United, the point extends their unbeaten start under Finidi George to six matches (three wins, three draws) and moves them to second place with 12 points, one behind leaders Enugu Rangers.
Rivers United will next face Ikorodu City, while Katsina United travel to Lagos to face Inter Lagos.
