Cincinnati Bengals rookie Landon Robinson has earned widespread praise from NFL fans after making a patriotic entrance for his first career regular-season game.
While modern NFL tunnel walks are typically dominated by designer clothes, the United States Naval Academy alum went against the grain, arriving at Paycor Stadium in his official military uniform for their season-opener against the Buccaneers.
Footage that emerged on social media showed the defensive tackle striding into the stadium tunnel fully suited up ahead of the Bengals’ matchup.
The gesture went viral on social media, with fans and veterans alike hailing the rookie for honoring his service background on one of the biggest days of his career.

Robinson spent three years with the United States Naval Academy before being drafted by the Bengals in the seventh round with the 226th overall pick

Robinson joined the Bengals in April after being selected in the seventh round with the 226th overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft.
‘I’m super excited to get started,’ Robinson told the Akron Beacon Journal. ‘I think it’s the beginning of a long, long career, and I’m just excited to learn and grow.
‘Obviously, you want to get out there as soon as you can, and you’re eager to go make plays, but it takes time in reality, especially as a younger player.
‘You’ve got to learn and you’ve got to grow because it’s a big jump from college to the NFL. So, I’m excited to learn. I’m excited to grow.’
The Ohio native enjoyed a standout collegiate career during his three years at the United States Naval Academy, where he became one of college football’s fiercest interior linemen.
During his senior campaign in 2025, Robinson was named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and earned First-Team All-American honors from the Associated Press.
Though designated among the team’s inactives for Sunday’s opener, Robinson still ensured he made an indelible mark before kickoff, delivering what many supporters crowned the best pregame arrival of the young NFL season.
