Club Brugge Pay Tribute To Onyedika After Eintracht Frankfurt Switch

Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge have paid tribute to Raphael Onyedika following the midfielder’s permanent move to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, Completesports.com reports.

The Nigerian international completed his transfer to the German side on Sunday, bringing an end to a successful spell with Blauw-Zwart.

Confirming his departure in a statement on their official website, Club Brugge wrote:

“After four seasons at Blauw-Zwart, Raphael is now making the move to Eintracht Frankfurt. Good luck, Rapha!”

Onyedika has signed a five-year contract with the former UEFA Europa League champions, Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 25-year-old joined Club Brugge from Danish club FC Midtjylland in the summer of 2022, and established himself as one of the club’s most influential players.

During his time in Belgium, the defensive midfielder made 183 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.

He leaves the club with an impressive collection of silverware, having won two Belgian Pro League titles, one Belgian Cup, and one Belgian Super Cup with Club Brugge.
