Liberian international goalkeeper Derrick Daddy Julu has completed a move from fellow Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Ikorodu City, signing a two-year contract with the Ikon Allah Boys ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Sports247 reports that the 23-year-old shot-stopper arrives with valuable top-flight and continental experience, strengthening the club’s goalkeeping department as preparations intensify for the new campaign.
Julu previously featured for Liberian giants Watanga FC, where he established himself as one of the country’s most promising goalkeepers before making the switch to the NPFL with Ikorodu City.
On the international stage, the goalkeeper has already earned 14 senior caps for Liberia, underlining his growing reputation as one of the nation’s most reliable performers between the posts.
His experience also extends to African club competitions, having represented Watanga FC in both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, where he gained valuable exposure against some of the continent’s elite clubs.
The signing is viewed as a major addition for the Ikon Allah Boys, who are aiming to strengthen their squad with experienced and proven players capable of competing at the highest level in the upcoming NPFL season.
