All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Christos Tzolis and Julian Alvarez and a potential departure for Gabriel Jesus.
Tzolis done deal?
Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for €40m, according to David Ornstein and The Athletic.
The Gunners have already let Leandro Trossard leave in this summer window, with Gabriel Martinelli reporters on the transfer list as well.
Mikel Arteta is keep to revamp his forward line despite the Premier League win last season and Tzolis is the newest recruit, with the Greece international recording 22 goals and 29 assists in all competitions for Brugge in 2025/26, helping his side win the Pro League title and being named the Belgian Footballer of the Year in the process.
Julian Alvarez wants Barca
Unfortunately for Arsenal, Julian Alvarez wants to sign for Barcelona instead of the North London side, reports The Sun.
The Argentine is one of the most wanted men in this summer’s transfer market following his excellent performances for Atletico Madrid, who are adamant he won’t be sold before the start of the new season.
There has actually been a back-and-forth social media spat between Barca and Atletico over the former’s pursuit of the player, but the Blaugrana are determined to land their man and have already bid £100m (€118m).
Arsenal could probably afford more, but Alvarez’s mind is apparently made up.
Norgaard wanted by Palace
Christian Norgaard is on Crystal Palace’s transfer wishlist, just one year after he joined Arsenal from Brentford.
The Dane was limited to just 101 minutes of Premier League football last season, and with Arteta keen to add even more midfielders to his squad this summer, he’ll only move further down the pecking order.
Arsenal are open to offers.
Jesus open to Milan move
Arsenal are prepared to part ways with Gabriel Jesus and are expected to consider bids of around £20m (€23.6m) for the striker, amid strong interest from Milan.
Several clubs are monitoring his situation, with Flamengo reportedly emerging as one of the frontrunners to secure his signature. Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Besiktas and Fenerbahce have also registered an interest, reports TeamTalk.
Jesus would be willing to return to his former club Palmeiras, where he began his career, although the Brazilian side face significant financial obstacles in making a deal happen.
First pro deal for starlet
Arsenal academy youngster Remi Lupinski has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old goalkeeper joined the Gunners’ academy from MK Dons last season and has now signed pro terms.
The youngster said: “It feels amazing, a very proud day for me and my family.
“It’s another milestone reached and I can’t wait for the season to begin. It was definitely difficult for the first couple of months, but when I settled into the changing room, the performances were coming on pitch as well, so it’s been brilliant. All the coaches have been brilliant.
“We have a talented group. [The experience] is very valuable. I took a lot of lessons from every single game, and hopefully I will get more minutes this season.”
Lupinski made 10 Premier League 2 appearances for Arsenal Under-18s last season.
