Ikorodu City midfielder Aderemi Adeoye is set to join Sky Bet Championship club Middlesbrough, Completesports.com reports.
According to reports, Adeoye is currently undergoing a trial with Middlesbrough as he looks to secure a summer move to England.
The 19-year-old is currently valued at €50,000 by Transfermarkt, but Ikorodu City are expected to demand a considerably higher transfer fee before allowing the him to leave.

A move to Middlesbrough would mark a major milestone in the youngster’s career, and further highlight the growing reputation of the Nigeria Premier Football League , NPFL, as a breeding ground for emerging talent.
Should the transfer be completed, Adeoye would follow in the footsteps of several Nigerian internationals who have featured for Middlesbrough, including Yakubu John Obi Mikel, Kenneth Omeruo, and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Adeoye Shines For Ikorodu City
The defensive midfielder joined Ikorodu City in January, and quickly established himself as key player for the Lagos club.
Adeoye was named in Nigeria’s squad for the Unity Cup invitational tournament in May.
He made two substitute appearances for the Super Eagles at the tournament.
