Reigning champions Nigeria’s Super Falcons will open their training camp in Mohammedia, Morocco, on Wednesday, July 15, as preparations intensify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Completesports.com reports.
The Super Falcons are expected to spend one week in Mohammedia, using the period to fine-tune their preparations before relocating to Rabat, where they will play all three of their Group C matches.
Head coach Justine Madugu is also expected to unveil his final squad for the tournament before the team departs for Morocco.
Nigeria head into the competition in confident mood after recording back-to-back victories over Senegal in international friendlies last month, performances that provided the coaching crew with an opportunity to assess the squad ahead of the continental showpiece.

The nine-time African champions will be chasing a record-extending 11th WAFCON title and are among the favourites to lift the trophy once again.
The Super Falcons begin their Group C campaign against Malawi’s Scorchers at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat, on Tuesday, July 28.
They will then take on the Copper Queens of Zambia at the same venue on Saturday, August 1, in what is expected to be one of the group’s biggest fixtures.
Madugu’s side will conclude the group stage against Egypt at the Olympic Stadium, Rabat, on Wednesday, August 5.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals as Nigeria seek to retain the continental crown and reaffirm their status as Africa’s most successful women’s national team.
