Nigeria Women Football League side Ekiti Queens have officially announced the departure of head coach Jacob Vandi, bringing an end to his two-year spell with the club.

“Ekiti Queens Football Club announces that Head Coach Jacob Vandi has officially departed the club after two seasons in the Nigeria Women Football League, bringing his time with the Baoress Babes to a close,” the club stated.
Vandi leaves the club after overseeing a challenging but ultimately successful 2025/26 campaign, which culminated in Ekiti Queens preserving their Nigeria Women Football League status. The team’s narrow 1-0 victory over Bayelsa Queens on the final day of the season proved decisive in securing their place in the top flight for another year,.
