Arsenal are set to enjoy a winter fixture list like never before with an extended period with the club set to remain in London
The Premier League fixtures have been released, and for Arsenal their title defence has been handed several boosts as of its publication. First and foremost is a start to their season at the Emirates Stadium against Coventry City, while they end the campaign again at home to Brighton.
This will come as a delight, especially should Arsenal go on to win the league again, and be able to lift the trophy in front of their home support, as opposed to at Selhurst Park as they were forced to do in the 2025/26 season.
However, there is one benefit, which is even better than what was seen last season. Over Christmas in 2025, Arsenal did not leave London, beating Crystal Palace on penalties in the League Cup quarter-final on December 23, beating Brighton at the Emirates Stadium on December 27 and following that up with another home league win, scoring four against Aston Villa on December 30.

This time around, however, Arsenal will remain in London, barring any cup or European excursions yet to be decided, from November 28 through to January 6. A run of eight games all taking place in the capital.
Kicking off with the home clash against title rivals Manchester City, the succession of seven games could help Arteta put a real confident run together: Brentford (A) on December 12, Tottenham Hotspur (A) on December 5, Bournemouth (H) on December 12, Manchester United (H) on December 19, Crystal Palace (A) on December 26, Fulham (A) on December 30, Ipswich Town (H) on January 2 and Brentford (H) on January 6.
Arsenal then travel to Hull City on January 16, following the FA Cup third round weekend (which could potentially extend the run if they’re given a home tie).
In 2024, Arsenal had another similar experience when they played all seven matches in December in London, including a Champions League win over Monaco and another League Cup quarter-final win over Crystal Palace.
Arsenal won five of the seven games, drawing 1-1 away at Fulham and 0-0 at home to Everton. These dropped points proved pivotal in the title race.
Arteta will be hoping for a much more successful winter wonderland in London this time around, buoyed by the gold Premier League winners patches on each of his players’ arms.
