The coach and founder of Lagos-based female football club, FC Robo Queens, Emmanuel Osahon has revealed a huge ambition that he believes will spur his side towards winning next year’s women’s league title in Nigeria.

Sports247 reports that the highly amiable youth developer and mentor gave the revelation in the wake of his club’s inability to excel during this year’s Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Super-6 in Port Harcourt.
Rather than feel slighted that his team placed sixth on the log at the end of hostilities last weekend, Osahon picked positives from a 1-1 draw with Abia Angels of Umuahia in their last game of the competition.
While commending the NWFL for maintaining high standards in the Super-6, Osahon pointed out that his team could not qualify for the previous edition, hence his verdict that they will take another step forward next year by eventually winning it.
“You have not seen our best at all. The same thing happened last season when we missed the Super Six ticket on the final day. We went back, corrected our mistakes and this year we made it. We have upcoming players.
“This competition has been a huge lesson. We have a lot to take home and improve ahead of next season. I love everything about the Super Six – the glamour, media hype and organisation. But I believe it should be played on neutral ground.”
Sports247 reports further that the highly acclaimed youth football promoter, who began his grassroots initiative at Bishop Aggey Memorial Grammar School in Mushin area of Lagos, has Asisat Oshoala and Rasheedat Ajibade among his many products-turned-stars.
