
Chekas United FC have emerged winners of Alade Stadium 1 after defeating Vinod Football Academy 2-0 on the final matchday of the Nationwide League One (NLO) regular season in Lagos.

The crucial victory confirmed Chekas’ dominance in the group and secured their place in the next phase of the NLO promotion playoffs, where they will now face Hephzibah Sports Club in a highly anticipated “Battle of Supremacy” between the unbeaten winners of Alade Centers 1 and 2.
Chekas needed two second-half goals against Vinod FA to seal top spot and maintain their impressive run in the competition.
The Lagos-based side finished the group stage unbeaten, underlining their credentials as one of the strongest contenders for promotion to thes Nigeria National League (NNL).
The playoff showdown against Hephzibah SC is expected to be one of the biggest fixtures of the Lagos NLO playoffs, with both clubs carrying strong momentum into the decisive clash.
Hephzibah SC also completed their campaign unbeaten after a series of commanding performances in Alade Center 2.
The team gained attention following emphatic victories, including a dominant win over Okaka FC, et al.
Although the date and venue for the playoff fixture are yet to be officially confirmed, the encounter is expected to take place at the Alade Sports Centre in Ipaja Command, Alimosho, Lagos.
The winner of the clash will advance to the final playoff phase involving other center winners in Lagos, where the final two teams will secure promotion tickets to the NNL.
Chekas United FC head into the contest with solid defensive form, having conceded only one goal through out the campaign and recorded notable victories over Seamoriow FC and Vinod FA during the group stage.
Hephzibah SC, on the other hand, also conceded only a goal have built a reputation for their attacking strength and tactical discipline.
With promotion to Nigeria’s second-tier league at stake, local football fans are already anticipating a fierce and decisive encounter between two of the standout grassroots teams in Lagos football this season.
