Emmanuel Okocha Praises Eric Chelle For Building Competition And Structure In Super Eagles Squad

Former Nigeria international Emmanuel Okocha has praised Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle for creating stronger competition and structure within the national team following the Unity Cup.

Reacting after Nigeria successfully retained the Unity Cup title, Okocha admitted the introduction of several new players has positively transformed the atmosphere within the squad.

“Eric Chelle has created healthy competition in the team,” Okocha said.

According to the former Nigerian international, the Super Eagles now appear more organized tactically whenever they play.

“The team now has structure in their game,” he implied.

Okocha stressed that competition for places has become much stronger following the arrival of fresh faces into the squad.
