US denies claim that Iran fired at American vessels

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) issued a statement on X denying the claim that the Iranian military had fired warning shots at US warships in the Gulf of Oman.

“Doing so would be a gross violation of the ceasefire. U.S. forces continue to operate freely in regional waters while fully enforcing the ongoing blockade against Iran,” the CENTCOM statement added.
