Arsenal could be set to benefit in their pursuit of Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi after Paris Saint-Germain’s apparent stance on the matter
Arsenal are interested in signing Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, football.london understands. The French youth international had a stellar season and ended up scoring the goal which would, in fact, hand the Gunners the Premier League title, after it caused Manchester City to drop points.
The Gunners want to add more firepower to their forward line, with the UEFA Champions League final highlighting how far behind they are from the European champions in terms of attacking might. Kroupi is seen as one of those potential pieces with the likes of Morgan Rogers, another.
However, Paris Saint-Germain, who beat Arsenal in the final, have been heavily linked with a move for the 19-year-old. Get French Football News have exclusively claimed that the Parisians are not looking to sign Kroupi, despite contradicting reports in other areas of French media.

Arsenal’s status as Premier League champions has added a new edge to their negotiations for talent. Long gone are the promises that Arsenal would win titles, now replaced with the evidence instead that they can.
No doubt that PSG, were they to go against the suggestions of a lack of interest and move for Kroupi, can also offer silverware in spades. Yet, having now integrated exceptionally well into the English top flight, Kroupi would not need to uproot his life from England and instead make the short trip north to the capital.
Furthermore, while it might look at the surface that Arsenal’s forward line is well stocked with Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres, the expected departure of Gabriel Jesus opens a door. Both Havertz and Kroupi are capable of playing in a variety of different offensive roles, too, giving Mikel Arteta plenty of options.
Arteta is aiming to establish the Gunners as the dominant force in England. The summer aims to inject young talent to help refresh the group and combine established stars in their prime with exciting potential both externally, or, with the help of Max Dowman, Myles Lewis-Skelly and possibly Ethan Nwaneri, internally.
