The head coach of Nigeria’s women wrestling team, Akuh Purity has sent out words of thanks to the federation’s president, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi for his attention and untiring efforts in creating opportunities for the country’s grapplers.

Sports247 reports that Purity was excited with the unflinching role played by Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) in ensuring the country’s talents compete at the highest level, which led to their entry into this year’s third ranking series.
Nigeria’s presence is reflected on the latest ranking scales in Mongolia with four of the country’s wrestlers set to showcase their mettle on the global stage, as they will fight to earn points to establish their world ratings.
They will also have opportunities to secure top seeds for future world championships, all of which Purity put down to far-reaching support from Adeniyi and assured the NWF president of a good representation by the country’s team in Mongolia.
Purity, who is also chairman of the NWF’s technical committee and leader of the delegation to Mongolia, further thanked Adeniyi for ensuring that all logistics and participation arrangements for the team were duly covered.
The technically sound wrestling tactician described the president’s support as efforts that go beyond generous and a deliberate move to ensure that the grapplers’ sport continues to make significant success in Nigeria, with more impact on the global stage.

Sports247 gathered that Purity led the delegation out on Monday night along with four wrestlers – Genesis Mercy Miesinnei (50kg), Ogunsanya Christianah Tolulope (53kg), Kolawole Esther Omolayo (62kg) and Ojo Damola Hannah (76kg).
