The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs are locked in a fiercely competitive Western Conference Finals series, with Game 6 set to take place in the early hours of tomorrow morning (BST).
It has been a back-and-forth battle from the very beginning. San Antonio struck first with a Game 1 victory to seize home-court advantage, but Oklahoma City responded immediately to level the series at 1-1 before the matchup shifted to Texas.
The reigning champions then showed their resilience on the road, stealing a game in San Antonio to ensure the series remained finely balanced at 2-2 heading back to Oklahoma City.
There, two-time reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered when it mattered most, pouring in 32 points to guide OKC to a crucial Game 5 win and a 3-2 series lead.
Can OKC Thunder win the Western Conference Finals against San Antonio in Game 6?
Now the series heads back to San Antonio, where Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs will look to keep their championship hopes alive on home court. Victory would tie the series at 3-3 and force a decisive Game 7 back in Oklahoma City.
Despite their defeat in Game 5, the Spurs remain odds-on favourites at 8/13 to win at home, while the Thunder are priced at 5/4 to pull off another road victory and book their place in the NBA Finals, where the New York Knicks await from the Eastern Conference.
It is also worth noting that San Antonio were dominant in Game 4 at home, cruising to a 21-point victory behind a superb 33-point performance from Wembanyama.

There are certainly reasons to believe each could land. Wembanyama exploded for 41 points in San Antonio’s Game 1 victory, while Gilgeous-Alexander has already reached the 40-point mark earlier in the playoffs.
Holmgren, meanwhile, rediscovered his form in Game 5, posting 16 points and 11 rebounds in an impressive all-round display for Oklahoma City.
