Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes is attracting interest from Burnley as he tries to cement his future prior to the World Cup.
The 30-year-old has just finished a short-term contract at Charlton Athletic whom he joined to maintain sharpness and match fitness ahead of next month’s showpiece tournament in USA.
He played 20 times for the Championship side, scoring three goals and manager Nathan Jones is keen to keep him at The Valley for next season.
They have already instigated talks over a new proposal, but interest is building elsewhere.
Burnley expect another turnover of players following relegation from the Premier League and are exploring options as they look to make a swift return to the top flight.

Dykes, who was born and raised on Australia’s Gold Coast, has amassed 50 caps for Scotland and scored 10 goals, often in key moments for Steve Clarke’s side.
