FC Porto of Portugal striker, Terem Moffi has declared that all players in the Super Eagles’ camp are not under any form of pressure whatsoever heading into Tuesday’s clash with Zimbabwe at the 2026 Unity Cup in London, Sports247 reports.

Instead of lamenting over World Cup miss, the 27-year-old forward stressed that everything they are thinking about for now is how to win the Unity Cup again, hence his declaration that they want to concentrate fully on hitting the ground running against Zimbabwe.
Incidentally, the product of Buckswood Academy, whose full name is Teremas Igobor Moffi and grew up in Calabar, celebrated his birthday on Monday, meaning he will aim to cap it with a solid performance on Tuesday to consolidate his national team recall.
Moffi, who was not part of Nigeria’s bronze-winning squad to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, reckoned that brilliant performances by the individual players with their respective clubs in Nigeria and Europe should make them good enough to defeat Zimbabwe, even with a blend of home-based talents.
He posited, “It’s been top sessions from the boys, and we’re proud to be here, happy to represent the country. We are looking forward to other sessions and the games. From the boys back home, top session from them.
“We could see the quality from the get-go. This is what we need in the Super Eagles, a mix of this and that. We love that. No pressure at all. We are just happy to be here to play football, enjoy ourselves and win games.”
