Two Nigerian-born heavyweight boxers, Moses Itauma and Daniel Dubois appear heading for direct conflict in Great Britain’s power ratings, as they both continue pilling in good results in recent months, Sports247 reports.
Odds are tilting towards a super-clash between them, after Dubois pulling off a sensational 11thf round knock out of Fabio Wardley to clinch the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) belt last Saturday in Manchester, England.

Dubois had to get up twice from the canvas en route to victory over Wardley and win the WBO heavyweight title, following which his promoter, Frank Warren noted his ward is on a collision course with Itauma, but will first face a rematch.
That is considering where a clause in the contract for last weekend’s title fight gives Wardley the option of forcing a rematch with Dubois, which he could activate despite suffering a bloody and deeply punishing loss.
Warren told Sky Sports: “It’s in the contract. If Fabio wants to do it, he can call it on. He was in a tough battle, as was Daniel. They’ve got to rest up now. Forget about boxing for a while.
“If it happens, it won’t happen till the end of the year. Whatever happens with Daniel, he’ll fight some time I think in November. He needs to recuperate himself. It’ll be the same for Fabio. It could be next year.”
