Video: Grieving mother recalls deadly attack on Minab school

A mother in the southern Iranian city of Minab has recounted the day two of her sons were killed in the strike on Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School, one of the deadliest single incidents of the war.

Visiting a cemetery where many of the victims are buried, she said there was “nothing in Minab worth attacking” and accused the United States of bringing grief to local families.

“There was nothing in Minab worth attacking,” the mother said, and added, “criminal America” placed grief in their hearts.

156 civilians were killed by the US strike, of which 120 were schoolchildren.
