NFCA Electoral Committee Chairman -AIT Commends Ogun State Executives After Successful Leadership Summit

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), Ogun State chapter, Coach Tajudeen Junaid- AIT, has praised the newly elected executives of the association following the successful staging of the NFCA Ogun State Leadership Summit and Leadership Award ceremony.

Speaking with Sports247Naija during the event held on May 13, 2026, at the CIBN Banquet Hall, Babcock University, Ilisan Remo, the football administrator described the post-election progress within the association as encouraging and worthy of commendation.

Coach Tajudeen Junaid, who also serves as the Remo Zonal Coordinator, expressed satisfaction with the smooth transition of leadership in the state chapter and applauded the efforts of the new executives in organizing what he termed a successful and impactful gathering for coaches and stakeholders.

“It’s fantastic what is happening after the election for the new executive of the Gateway State NFCA. I am delighted to witness such successful events,” he said.

The electoral committee chairman further appreciated the commitment and leadership shown by the newly elected officials currently managing the affairs of the association in Ogun State, noting that their early achievements reflected unity and a clear sense of direction.

“I appreciate the newly elected officials that are running the affairs of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association,” he added.

Junaid also reserved special praise for the immediate past leadership of the association, particularly acknowledging the role played in ensuring continuity and stability within the organization.

“I appreciate the former chairman that paved the way for his deputy to step forward as his successor. It is commendable with the turnaround,” he stated.

Reflecting on the electoral process that produced the current executives, the football administrator admitted that the journey was not without challenges. However, he expressed gratitude that the association was able to overcome difficulties and move forward positively.

“With several challenges encountered during the electoral processes, we appreciate God for survival, and here we are witnessing a new turnaround in the state,” he concluded.

The leadership summit and award ceremony brought together coaches, stakeholders, administrators, and football enthusiasts across Ogun State, with discussions centered on football development, leadership, and the future of coaching in the state.
