Super Falcons head coach Justin Madugu has revealed that Nigeria will closely monitor the upcoming clash between Sudan women’s national football team and Comoros women’s national football team ahead of the qualifiers for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
Speaking on Nigeria’s preparation plans, Madugu explained that the Super Falcons’ second-round qualifiers are scheduled for October, making scouting and analysis an important part of the build-up.

“We will monitor them closely,” he said.
According to the coach, understanding potential opponents early gives the technical crew a better chance to prepare effectively.
“You must study your opposition,” he implied.
Madugu also expressed confidence that Nigeria will be ready when the qualifiers arrive, particularly with the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations expected to provide competitive match fitness and tactical preparation.
“WAFCON will help us prepare,” he noted.
The coach believes the tournament will allow the team to build rhythm and cohesion before the Olympic qualifiers begin.
“It’s important preparation,” he added.
