With just two games left in the season, every point could prove decisive in what promises to be a dramatic penultimate weekend in the NPFL.

League leaders Enugu Rangers will be desperate to maintain their advantage at the summit when they host Bendel Insurance at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

Rangers sit top of the standings on 62 points and know that victory could put them within touching distance of a first league crown in years.

However, Bendel Insurance have shown resilience throughout the campaign and could still play the role of spoilers in Enugu.

Just one point behind the Flying Antelopes are Rivers United, who face a tricky away fixture against Wikki Tourists in Bauchi.

Rivers United remain firmly in the title hunt and cannot afford any slip-up if they hope to overtake Rangers heading into the final day.

Wikki, meanwhile, will be eager to finish strongly in front of their home supporters.

In Ikenne, defending champions Remo Stars face a must-win encounter against Bayelsa United in one of the biggest survival clashes of the weekend.

Remo Stars have endured a difficult title defence and now find themselves battling to avoid relegation.

Bayelsa United are also fighting for survival, making the encounter a potentially decisive contest at the bottom of the table.

The battle for continental qualification is equally intense, with Ikorodu City and Shooting Stars locked in a close race for a top-three finish.

Ikorodu City travel to Katsina to face Katsina United, while Shooting Stars host Barau FC in Ibadan.

A win for either side could prove vital in the race for continental football next season, especially with little separating the contenders on the table.

Elsewhere, Kwara United welcome Enyimba FC in Ilorin, while Abia Warriors host Kun Khalifat FC in Umuahia.

In Kano, Kano Pillars take on Warri Wolves, as El-Kanemi Warriors battle Niger Tornadoes in Maiduguri.

The North-Central derby between Nasarawa United and Plateau United in Lafia is also expected to attract attention as both teams seek a strong finish to the campaign.

To preserve fairness and integrity during the crucial stage of the season, the NPFL has directed that all Matchday 37 fixtures kick off simultaneously at 4pm, with stern warnings against any delay tactics or breach of regulations.
