Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was seen in a superb form as Brighton & Hove Albion Women booked a first-ever Women’s FA Cup final appearance after a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Liverpool Women on Sunday.

The Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered another composed display between the sticks, keeping the dream of winning a trophy in her debut season alive.
Liverpool stormed into an early two-goal advantage through strikes from D. O’Sullivan and B. Olsson inside the opening 22 minutes at BrewDog Stadium.
Brighton, however, refused to surrender and slowly wrestled momentum away from the hosts.
M. Vanegas pulled one back barely a minute after Liverpool’s second goal before M. Haley restored parity in the second half.
Deep into stoppage time, substitute Nadine Noordam smashed home a dramatic winner to send Brighton to Wembley for the first time in club history.
Despite Liverpool dominating possession for long spells, Chiamaka Nnadozie remained calm and organised throughout the encounter.
The Super Falcons star produced two important saves while expertly coordinating Brighton’s defensive line to frustrate Liverpool’s attacking rhythm.
Liverpool managed only four shots on target despite controlling much of the ball, with Nnadozie’s communication and positioning helping Brighton absorb pressure before launching their comeback.
The Nigerian goalkeeper has enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign in England and once again showed why she has quickly become one of Brighton’s most reliable performers during their impressive unbeaten run.
Former England midfielder Fran Kirby praised Brighton’s resilience after the match, insisting the team deserved their comeback victory.
“We went up a level in the second half,” Kirby told TNT Sports. “The culture in the group is incredible. Everyone wants to work for each other and do the graft.”
Former England internationals Fara Williams and Anita Asante also hailed Brighton’s fighting spirit after overturning the two-goal deficit.
Brighton will now prepare for their historic Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley on May 31, where they will face either Chelsea Women or Manchester City Women.
