Rashford does not want Man Utd return

Marcus Rashford’s future continues to provide a source of huge uncertainty. Barcelona have yet to trigger their €30m buyout clause for the player, leading to claims via the Daily Mail that Arsenal and Bayern Munich are both studying the possibility of a move for the player.

While Man Utd do not want to reintegrate Rashford back into their squad, while The Sun has revealed that the 28-year-old attacker also has no desire to return to Old Trafford.

It claims that he is “privately opposed to returning to United after a fraught few years with his boyhood club”.

Hojlund sale confirmed

Manchester United’s first major piece of transfer business for the summer has been concluded, with Rasmus Hojlund’s switch to Napoli on a permanent basis confirmed.

Hojlund will leave Old Trafford in a €44 million deal, with Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna confirmed via The Mirror: “There are no doubts. Rasmus will stay here.

“We have an obligation to buy from Manchester United, in case of Champions League access, but he is in our plans regardless of this condition.”

United land major training kit sponsorship deal

Manchester United are close to securing a deal worth €20.8 million (£18m) per year that could help fuel their summer transfer campaign, The Athletic reports.

The Red Devils are currently in negotiations with Betway over a training kit sponsorship agreement from the beginning of next season.

Although the agreement is considerably less than the €27.8m that Tezos previously sponsored the club in this regard, United feel that the deal represents ‘good value in the current climate’. It is also said to be ‘among the highest of its kind in football’.

Man Utd have been without a training kit sponsor for a year, so this additional income will be welcome.

Kane set to reject Man Utd move for new Bayern deal

Any hopes that Man Utd had of landing Harry Kane from Bayern Munich this summer are set to be dashed as the England captain is ready to commit his future to the Allianz Arena side, according to TeamTalk.

United are one of a number of Premier League sides that have been monitoring his situation at Bayern ahead of the summer, but he is said to be settled in Germany and not considering any moves.

Now he is ready to sign a contract with Bayern that will keep him at Vincent Kompany’s side until 2028.

Inter Miami ‘strong contenders’ for Casemiro

Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami appear increasingly likely to land Casemiro.

Despite chants from supporters pleading the Brazil international to stay for ‘one more season’, the ex-Real Madrid ace has announced his departure from the club.

A move to MLS is on the cards, with Sky Sports indicating that Messi’s influence is tempting the midfielder.

It claims: “Miami is said to be the city he and his family would like to live in the most – and the conditions are right at Inter after they acquired an international slot from New England Revolution.

“Casemiro also wants to play with Lionel Messi, Sky Sports News understands – so much so that he is willing to reduce his salary demands to facilitate such a move.

“LA Galaxy are possibly the only other club that could afford Casemiro, which means he is more likely to move to another country – such as Saudi Arabia – if an Inter move does not materialise.”

Ederson rumours persist

Man Utd’s links to Atalanta midfielder Ederson will not go away, with Matteo Moretto insisting that there is still interest from the Old Trafford club in the Brazilian on YouTube.

Ederson is keen to leave Italy. Atalanta have put a €50 million price tag on his head.
