Nigerian sprinter Rosemary Nwankwo has described her experience at the World Athletics Relays in Gaborone as a defining moment in her young career, despite still being at secondary school level.
Nwankwo ran the opening leg for Nigeria’s women’s 4x100m team, contributing to a performance that secured qualification for the 2027 World Athletics Championships.

“It fuels my ambition,” she said.
