Young Tigers Football Academy’s coach, Taiwo Abiodun (aka Santos) has set his sight on winning both the under-10 and under-13 categories of this year’s GodDid Foundation Youth Cup at Anglican Primary School, Akesan, Lagos, Sports247 reports.
Speaking ahead of this Wednesday’s quarter-finals clash with Super Accurate Football Academy of Ikotun in the under-10 cadre, Coach Santos declared emphatically that his boys are in the right frame of mind to surmount their highly formidable opponents and go all the way to the final.

Santos retorted, “Young Tigers FA under-10 are through to the quarter-final of GodDid Foundation Mid-term Summer Cup going on at Anglican Primary School, Akesan Lagos. Young Tigers FA under-10 qualified with four points in Group B.
“We can see some very young talented players in the team like Akintola Noah, Peace, Mogaji Sultan, Okoh Ebube, Ogundero Sallam, Ogundero Samad and our new intake player, Ademiju Adeyemi.”
He also spoke about the under-13 squad and equally predicted that they will go all out to ensure that the highly desired double trophy at GodDid 2026 will become a reality for the team that trains at Lanre area of Igando-Isheri Expressway.
Santos added, “The under-13 Young Tigers category are really doing well in the tournament and they qualified with five points, after drawing their first match 2- 2 with Mavilgosal.
“They also drew their second match 1-1 with Adebayo FC and in their third match, which was on Monday, Young Tigers won 6-0 against United Tao FC.
“Ayoola Waris (Dembele) was our hero with a wonderful haul of four goals. Bello Habeeb also scored and Mogaji Salam got one with a wonderful header.
“We missed the presence of Taiwo Abdullahi during our first and second matches, but his appreance in the last group match was a wonderful one. We’re expecting the boys to bring home the trophy.”
