Wrexham of Wales goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo is ready to stop all shots this weekend in the English Championship, and he will try hard to keep alive his club’s hopes of gaining promotion from their last game of the season.
Sports247 reports that it promises to be an uphill task for Wrexham this Saturday, as they face a highly formidable Middlesbrough squad brimming with lots of experience and a lot of power to attack Okonkwo’s goal.

A lot of anxiety is already brewing, as Okonkwo and his teammates head into their contest with Middlesbrough at Stok Cae Ras Stadium knowing that they need all three points to keep alive their promotion hopes.
This follows a major setback last weekend, when Wrexham fell 3-1 away to newly crowned Championship winners Coventry City, who are the first of two teams with automatic promotion tickets.
Incidentally, one of the lads who will soon be among Okonkwo’s pals in Nigeria’s national team, Frank Onyeka got an assist on the third goal that condemned the keeper to another major dent in his clean sheets haul this season.
Nonetheless, ahead of the clash with Boro, Okonkwo’s side still hold a slender advantage over Derby County and Semi Ajayi’s Hull City in the race for sixth spot and qualification for the mini-competition that could see them play top-flight football next season.
The new Super Eagles’ keeper will now head into the final match of the regular season, knowing that he and his pals are in a good position to finish sixth and pick a spot in the promotion play-off competition.

Okonkwo’s coach, Phil Parkinson gave kudos to his players, as he reckoned that they held their own firmly in an away fixture against a top side backed by vociferous supporters
He added, “Going a goal down in this cauldron atmosphere, a lesser group could have been beaten by three or four. I thought the lads acquitted themselves really well.
“The third goal is disappointing because I think it puts an unfair reflection of the game as a whole but hopefully it won’t knock the boys, it shouldn’t do. We’ll be ready for next week.”
