Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic had a tough Saturday night, made even tougher by an embarrassing moment that happened in front of the press.
Jokic shot horrifically from the field, was sloppy with the ball and took a leading role in a brawl during his team’s 112-96 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
After the game, he nearly lost something else after he came out of the shower and arrived at his locker.
‘Someone stole my underwear,’ the basketball star said, according to The Athletic.
A stunned Jokic then reportedly began searching for his clothes with a reported ‘you’ve-gotta-be-kidding-me disbelief.’
Eventually, Jokic found his lost item ‘inconspicuously draped over the closet rod in his locker.’

At the end of Saturday’s game, Jokic even sparked a brawl with the Timberwolves
The three-time MVP struggled on the night, scoring 24 points but shooting 8-for-22 in the process.Â
Adding further insult to injury, he turned the ball over four times – making it the third time in four playoff games that he’s coughed up the ball that often.
Even worse, an irate Jokic started a fight when he shoved Timberwolves star Jaden McDaniels for scoring a garbage time layup as the clock wound down.
Jokic ran from half court to confront him – sparking a minor scrum between the two teams.
Saturday’s defeat has Jokic and the Nuggets on the brink as they sit down 3-1 in the series and are on the verge of elimination.
Denver must win Monday night’s Game 5 in order to stay alive in the series.Â
