Arsenal of England’s Nigerian-born dazzler, Eberechi Eze has been cast in doubt for an appearance against Ademola Lookman’s Atletico Madrid of Spain in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg fixture.
Sports247 reports that, while Lookman is also doubtful for the game in Madrid, due to an injury he copped last weekend in the Spanish La Liga, Eze returned to the doctor’s table after scoring in the English Premier League.

The former Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace ace netted the only goal on Saturday afternoon at Emirates Stadium, where a 1-0 win over Newcastle United helped The Gunners climb back on top of the EPL’s log.
Eze fired home a sensational first-half goal from distance to keep Arsenal’s title hope alive, but the Nigerian-born England international and Kai Havertz were withdrawn with injuries, leaving Mikel Arteta sweating in the title run.
Post-match comments rated Eze as Arsenal’s best player during Saturday’s crucial encounter, such that his absence during this week’s UCL clash with Lookman’s club could be a costly miss for Arteta’s glory-chasing squad.
