Argentine President Milei makes Falklands vow as Trump threatens UK's islands

President Javier Milei says he is ‘doing everything humanly possible’ to bring the Falkland Islands back into Argentine hands

Argentine President Javier Milei has ramped up his stance on the Falkland Islands, pushing for renewed calls to seize the territory from British control.

His comments come as Donald Trump threatens to review UK sovereignty over the islands amid a growing row with European allies.

“We are doing everything humanly possible to bring the Falkland Islands back into Argentine hands,” Milei told Neura yesterday. “Sovereignty is not negotiable, but it must be done judiciously, it must be done with intelligence.”

Trump reportedly outlined proposals to penalise NATO allies in an internal Pentagon email revealed earlier today.
