All Is Set For Lagos State FA Cup Semi Final This Weekend in Oshodi 

The stage is set for a thrilling weekend as the Lagos FA Cup heads into its decisive semifinal phase at the Inspire Sports Ground, Cappa, Oshodi.

Following a series of keenly contested fixtures, the final four teams have emerged, with Nigeria Premier League side Ikorodu City FC joining G12 FC, Vinod FC, and Box2Box FC in the last four.

G12 continued their fine run in the quarter finals edging out Ikorodu FA, consolidated their shock Victory over defending champions Inter Lagos in the round of 16.

Ikorodu City secured their place with back-to-back victories, first edging Ikonnect FC 1-0 in a rescheduled Round of 16 clash, before overcoming Gbagada FC 2-1 in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Box2Box FC also booked their semifinal ticket with a narrow 1-0 win over Utility Sports FC.

The Semifinal Fixtures (Men) released by the Lagos State FA paired G12 FC with Vinod FC while Ikorodu City FC will take on Box2Box FC in the second semi final .

Both matches will be played on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Inspire Sports Ground in Oshodi, with kickoff times set for 10:00 am and 4:00 pm respectively.

G12 FC, representing Lagos Island, have impressed throughout the competition and will face a determined Vinod FC side from Agege.

The second semifinal pits Surulere-based Box2Box FC against top-flight opposition in Ikorodu City FC, a clash that promises intensity and quality.

The women’s competition will also take center stage on the same day:

Ghetto Tigers Ladies will take on Dream Star Ladies at 12:00 noon while Robo Queens will take on Unification Ladies, kick off time at 2:00 pm.

Ghetto Tigers Ladies, who compete in the Nigeria Women Football League Championship, will look to continue their impressive run after eliminating defending champions Dannaz Ladies.

FC Robo Queens, one of Lagos’ most prominent women’s teams, will aim to assert their dominance against Unification Ladies in what is expected to be a fiercely contested encounter.

With both men’s and women’s semifinals lined up, fans can expect a full day of exciting football action in Oshodi as teams battle for a place in the Lagos FA Cup finals.
