Female junior national team, Falconets’ coach, Moses Aduku has promised that Nigerians will have cause to smile after his squad play Malawi next month, as they would pick a ticket to the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

Sports247 reports that, with two weeks to go before they host Malawi in the first leg of the final qualifier, Aduku disclosed that he is giving the girls winning strategies and confident of achieving home and away victories with his squad.
He urged Nigerians to keep on praying for the Falconets, with a view that the players need more support heading into their May 2nd home fixture versus Malawi and May 9th return leg in Lilongwe.
Aduku added that all the players are focused fully on the upcoming games and assured that they will continue working hard in training, towTds achieving victory, which he acknowledged will make Nigerians happy when the World Cup ticket is eventually achieved.
“We have a full squad on ground and everyone is focused on the task at hand. From now, we will concentrate on team planning and tactical work. We are taking this very seriously and, I believe, by the end of the matches we will come out victorious.
“To our supporters, we plead that you pray for us as you did when we played Rwanda and Senegal in the earlier rounds. I believe Nigeria will smile with a ticket to the World Cup after the two legs against Malawi,” Aduku asserted.
Sports247 recalls that the Falconets reached the final phase of the qualifiers with a 3-1 victory against Senegal (1-0 at home and 2-1 away), following a 5-0 aggregate win over Rwanda in the earlier round.
