Hull City attacker Mohamed Belloumi would reportedly be open to joining Arsenal next year amid rumoured interest from Mikel Arteta’s side.

The 24-year-old has caught the eye during the early weeks of the 2026-27 Premier League season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in nine games, and his form has attracted the attention of Arsenal.

That is according to Arabic publication Maghreb-Foot, who claim that Mikel Arteta’s side are closely monitoring the Algeria international ahead of a potential approach during the upcoming January transfer window.

It’s reported that Belloumi would be unable to turn down an offer from Arsenal next year, although he is currently focused on performing for Hull as they look to avoid relegation back down to the Championship this season.

Meanwhile, when asked about a potential transfer back in September, Belloumi’s father, Lakhdar, told Win Win: “All his focus right now is on Hull City. If we receive any major offer, we wouldn’t object to him leaving.

“With all due respect to Hull City, but at this level, he deserves to play for a bigger club competing for domestic and continental titles, such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille and Manchester City.”

Arsenal’s transfer plans for 2027 revealed

Despite reported interest in Belloumi, the Hull star is certainly not Arsenal’s priority target for next summer, with the club instead eager to land a new left winger after failing to replace the departed Gabriel Martinelli before the end of Deadline Day

Juventus star Kenan Yildiz is understood to be a top target for the role, while the Gunners have earmarked Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi as a potential versatile attacking signing following a sensational debut campaign in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, the club remain attentive to Jarell Quansah’s situation at Bayer Leverkusen and they are also interested in his team-mate Ibrahim Maza, who has registered seven goal contributions in 12 games from an attacking midfield berth so far this term.

However, Arsenal’s current focus is on finalising contract extension agreements with Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard and Jurrien Timber, before delving into fresh talks with Riccardo Calafiori.
