Graham Rahal, an IndyCar driver and son of Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal, has released a desperate plea for help finding his family’s lost dogs amid fears the two 8-year-old male malamutes may have been taken after escaping from their California home.
Rahal lives with his wife, former NHRA tour drag racer Courtney Force, and their three children in Yorba Linda on the eastern edge of Los Angeles.
‘Help us find our boys, Arrow and Beau,’ read a post on the 37-year-old Rahal’s Instagram page. ‘They got out of our gate and seemingly got picked up in a car, just down the street from our house.’
Bizarrely, one dog’s tracking device appears to show the canines were picked up and driven to several other nearby towns before the unidentified abductor removed the tracker.
As Graham wrote online: ‘The tracker device on his collar showed they went from Yorba Linda to Tustin then back to Brea, before just his tracker was found on the side of the road, in the bushes, in Brea.’
The family has filed a police report with the Orange County Sheriff’s office, which paid a visit to the home on Tuesday night.

As reported by TMZ, Rahal is tracing the route of the tracker to learn if the culprit may have been caught by any looming security cameras.
Only one of the dogs is wearing a tracker, according to Rahal, who told TMZ that both have microchips that would allow them to be identified if they’re turned into a shelter.
It’s been an emotional week for the Rahals and the IndyCar community following the cancer diagnosis of driver Jack Harvey.
The 33-year-old Brit, who has raced part-time on the IndyCar Series, revealed his diagnosis Tuesday on X, although he stopped short of specifying the form of cancer he’s facing.
‘Life has delivered a new fight to my doorstep,’ Harvey wrote on Instagram. ‘I have recently been diagnosed with cancer.’
Rahal responded to the news online: ‘Jack is one of my best friends in all of racing and like family to me. No doubt he’ll kick cancers a**. We’re all here for you brother.’
Graham, who races for a team owned by his father and late-night legend David Letterman, has six career wins. Most recently he had two victories during the 2017 IndyCar Series.
