Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has disclosed that being on the pitch and staying grateful for his career matters more than specific positions or pressure.
Playing for both Nottingham Forest and the Super Eagles, he approaches his career with positivity, hard work, and a desire to keep things light and fun.

Having bounced back from previous injury setbacks, Aina in a chat with Ratings, stated that his primary goal remains maintaining his fitness, performing at a high level, and appreciating every moment of his professional journey.
“It’s been good. Everything is new, not perfect, but we’re still working on making these things better. Hopefully, in the games to come, it gets better.
“Hopefully we don’t fight for survival. Hopefully we’re safe and we’re doing well in the league. I just want to play good football, do good things, and hopefully we can have a good season.”

Aina also noted that Taiwo Awoniyi’s departure from Nottingham Forest to Coventry City makes him feel like the only Nigerian player left at the club.
“Yeah, I’m alone now. I just want to keep playing and enjoying my football. That’s the main thing for me.
“I messaged him personally that day and it was a personal note I sent to him. I was so happy for him. It’s between us and I hope we can have a good season.”
