Falconets head coach Moses Aduku says his team has put their opening-day defeat to Spain behind them and is fully focused on the crucial encounter with China.
Nigeria will return to the Stadion Sosnowiec on Thursday evening for their second Group F fixture, hoping to bounce back from a disappointing 2-0 loss to 2022 champions Spain in their opening game.
China, meanwhile, began their campaign in impressive fashion, thrashing tournament debutants New Caledonia 5-0. The emphatic victory puts them at the top of Group F, ahead of Spain on goal difference.
With qualification for the knockout stage still within reach, the Falconets know they need a positive result against the Chinese to strengthen their chances of progressing.
Aduku Upbeat Ahead China Clash
Aduku insists his players are determined to respond strongly.
