CampGee Football Academy will be looking to build on their first win of the season when they face Pillars Sports Academy in Week Five of the AfriSportPro Youth League on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
CampGee FA recorded an impressive 3-0 victory over De Ark FA in Week Four at the Uyo Township Stadium, thanks to goals from Mfoniso, Daniel Clement and Edidiong Ime.
The victory marked the academy’s first win of the campaign after recording two draws and one defeat in their opening three matches.
Coach Okechukwu Promise and his young players appear to be finding their rhythm as they continue to gain experience in the competition. Having only recently been formed, the academy will be eager to build on the confidence gained from their convincing victory.
Their next challenge comes against Pillars Sports Academy at the Uyo Township Stadium on Sunday at 1:45 pm.
CampGee FA will hope to continue with their possession-based style of football, which has become a key part of their game, as they seek another positive result.
However, Pillars Sports Academy are expected to provide a tough challenge, having also enjoyed a competitive start to the campaign.
The AfriSportPro Youth League Akwa Ibom State Conference features 12 teams competing for two places in the National Playoffs. Each team will play 11 matches before the end of the competition.
Ahead of Sunday’s encounter, the CampGee FA players will enter the game with fresh experience from their recent scouting engagement in Port Harcourt.
With confidence growing after their Week Four victory, CampGee FA will be determined to secure another win and continue their progress in the competition.
