Cameron Boozer Makes History as Grizzlies Extend Unbeaten Start Against Trail Blazers

Cameron Boozer had a night to remember as the Memphis Grizzlies continued their perfect start to the 2026-27 NBA season with a 124-103 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

At just 19 years and 103 days old, Boozer became the second-youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double, joining an exclusive list of young talents to achieve the milestone.

The Memphis rookie finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists, putting together an impressive all-round performance as the Grizzlies secured their fifth consecutive victory.

It was a significant achievement for Boozer, whose composure and ability to influence the game in different areas stood out throughout the contest.

The victory also gave Memphis its first 5-0 start since the 2014-15 season, showing just how well the team has begun its campaign.

Boozer wasn’t the only Grizzlies player to make an impact. Isaiah Stewart contributed 18 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting, while Cedric Coward finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Memphis eventually pulled away to secure a convincing 21-point win, leaving Portland with little answer to its performance.

For the Grizzlies, there will be plenty to be pleased about, but Boozer’s historic achievement will undoubtedly be the biggest talking point from the night. At 19, he is already making his mark in the league, and Memphis supporters will be eager to see what comes next.
