Jordan Henderson has made it clear he has not given up on his England career at the age of 36, having revitalized his game since moving to Chelsea.
The Champions League and Premier League winner has quickly proven his doubters wrong, notably grabbing a brace against Bournemouth earlier this month, capped off by a stunning free-kick.

With England boss Thomas Tuchel keeping a close eye on form as upcoming international tournaments approach, the veteran midfielder remains firmly in the conversation.
Speaking on his ambitions with the Three Lions, Henderson emphasized that he is always eager to prove his critics wrong and that representing his country remains a lifelong priority.
“I will always have the desire for England. I still feel like I can play at the highest level, but I have to do a job at Chelsea, put in good performances, and wait and see,” Henderson said.

“England’s always an honor and a big thing for me. If I feel like I’m playing at the highest level, of course, I would always want to be involved.
“As long as I am playing and feeling good, then I would always want to give myself a chance [of a call-up]. Of course, that’s up to the manager and the decisions he makes on the squad. I have just got to keep putting in good performances and then take it as it comes.”
