Super Eagles defender Ola Aina watched from the bench for the full 90 minutes on Sunday as Nottingham Forest fell to a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal in the Premier League.
Aina has featured five times for Forest this campaign, accumulating three yellow cards along the way.
At the City Ground, Forest’s disciplined 3-4-2-1 setup frustrated Arsenal early on. Though the Gunners dominated possession, they struggled to break down the resilient hosts before halftime, with Kai Havertz heading narrowly wide from a Declan Rice delivery.

However, Arteta’s second-half substitutions changed the game. The introduction of Noni Madueke proved decisive in the 80th minute when the winger latched onto a pass from Rice, cut inside, and curled past Matz Sels to secure the 1-0 win.
Forest’s late equalizer attempts were comfortably snuffed out by Arsenal’s defense, pushing the Gunners into second place, three points adrift of table-toppers Manchester City.
