Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping options. The Nigerian international has emerged as a potential target, with Udinese said to be demanding around €20 million for his services should Inter decide to pursue a deal.

The 26-year-old has established himself in Italian football since joining Udinese and has attracted attention amid speculation about his future.

Inter are understood to be exploring options to strengthen their goalkeeping department, although it remains unclear whether the club will make a formal offer for the Nigerian.

Udinese’s reported valuation could prove a major factor in any potential negotiations, with Inter yet to confirm an official bid for the goalkeeper.

Okoye has continued to feature for Udinese in Serie A, gaining valuable experience in one of Europe’s major leagues. His performances have also kept him in the conversation surrounding Nigeria’s goalkeeping options at international level.

The reported interest comes after a difficult spell for Udinese, who suffered a 2-1 defeat away to Torino on October 12. Okoye was involved in the decisive incident when he collided with teammate Nicolo Bertola while attempting to clear the ball, allowing Torino substitute Sandro Kulenovic to score into an unguarded net.

Despite that setback, reports of Inter’s interest suggest the goalkeeper remains on the radar of a major Italian club as it considers its options for the position.

A move to Inter would represent a significant step in Okoye’s club career, but the situation remains at the speculation stage.

Neither a completed transfer nor an agreement between the clubs has been confirmed, leaving the reported €20 million valuation and Inter’s level of interest as key developments to watch ahead of the January window.
