Bruno Fernandes’ frustration at another disappointing Manchester United result was palpable still as he left Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils squandered a 1-0 lead against fellow strugglers Tottenham Hotspur to concede a stoppage-time equaliser in the second half to draw 1-1.
Dominic Solanke’s equaliser will sting more for those connected with United as Spurs were playing with 10 men at the time after Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off on 78 minutes.
The result means United have just six points from six matches and sit 12th in the Premier League – nine points adrift of table-toppers City, who have played a game less – at the time of writing on Sunday morning, and four above bottom-placed Fulham. To underline their poor start to the season further, with six points it’s their fewest at this stage of a league campaign since 1986-87, when they amassed four under Sir Alex Ferguson.
And all of that could be factored into Fernandes’ mood as he left the ground with haste once changed.
In a video shared from X account @TheEyeTest_1, the United captain was the first to leave Old Trafford and didn’t stop to sign autographs for fans, something he usually does.

In the video too it depicts the 32-year-old walking into the United car park with haste and his head bowed.
Fernandes’ own performance on Saturday was a microcosm of United’s – with the Portuguese playmaker not completing his first pass against Tottenham until staggeringly the 23rd-minute.
Their concerning Premier League form will have to be put on hold for now as United face a daunting trip to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Once they return from Madrid, they then face a trip to bitter rivals Leeds United in the Premier League next Sunday.
