Barcelona will be without Raphinha for their next two matches after head coach Hansi Flick confirmed that the Brazilian winger will miss the games against Getafe and Galatasaray.
Flick explained that the decision was made as a precaution, despite medical tests showing no serious injury. Barcelona are keen to avoid further fitness problems for the forward, who suffered three injuries last season.
The absence means Raphinha will miss Saturday’s La Liga fixture against Getafe and Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Galatasaray. Barcelona will now look to their available attacking options to cover for the influential winger during his brief spell on the sidelines.
