All the latest Man Utd transfer news in one place, including updates on Murillo, JJ Gabriel and Assane Diao.
Hefty Murillo bid needed
Nottingham Forest will only consider “exceptional offers” for Murillo in January, TEAMtalk claims.
The Brazil international is once again being linked with a possible move to Man Utd, who are believed to be in the market for centre-back reinforcements amid the uncertain future of Leny Yoro.
Forest, though, have no intention of entertaining offers for their star centre-back mid-season. The 24-year-old signed a new contract in May, putting the City Ground outfit in a strong negotiating position.
Gabriel deal offered
Man Utd have offered a contract to wantaway wonderkid JJ Gabriel, The Guardian reports.
The 16-year-old has requested to leave Man Utd, and there is an expectation that he will depart in January. By offering him scholarship terms, Man Utd have ensured that they will not lose him for free, even if he rejects the contract.
The Red Devils will be owed a fee regardless of where the youngster ends up, although it is in their best interest that he stays in England, as that would entitle them to several million euros. If he were to move to the continent, the compensation would be just over €400,000.
Diao convinces Carrick
Man Utd are “totally convinced” that Como forward Assane Diao could be a shrewd signing, 4-4-2.com writes.
The Senegal international has already matched his attacking output from last season and is firmly on the radar of several Premier League clubs, including the Old Trafford outfit.
Scouts have sent glowing reports back to Manchester, but there is no guarantee that an offer will materialise. Como feel under no pressure to sell and will likely demand more than €50m for the 21-year-old.
Left-back battle
Liverpool have joined Man Utd in the race to sign Bournemouth left-back Adrien Truffer, as per TEAMtalk.
The France international is a key target for the Red Devils, whose priority for 2027 is to sign cover and competition for Luke Shaw. However, their Anfield rivals could also strengthen at left-back, and Andoni Iraola worked with Truffered on the South Coast.
The same outlet also asserts that Man Utd have enquired about Club Brugge defender Joaquin Seys, who was already eyed in the summer. With Lewis Hall having signed a new contract at Newcastle, Truffert and Seys are emerging as key targets for the Old Trafford side.
