All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Kenan Yildiz, Noni Madueke and Jarell Quansah.
Yildiz price tag
Transfer insider Gianluca di Marzio has told Arsenal that Juventus star Kenan Yildiz is likely to cost well in excess of €100 million.
The Turkey international has been a key target for the Gunners ever since his time in the Bayern Munich academy, and they launched a fresh enquiry for him this summer. However, Juventus still consider him untouchable.
Speaking to Bet365, Di Marzio dropped the “bomb” that Yildiz could cost as much as €150m should he ever decide to leave.
“We’re not talking €110m or €120m, but something much closer to €150m. So, if I have to name one player guaranteed to break the €100m barrier if he moves, it’s Juventus’ Yildiz,” he said.
Madueke jackpot
Around half a dozen clubs are showing an interest in Arsenal winger Noni Madueke, as per the Daily Briefing.
The 24-year-old has struggled for minutes this season and lost his place in the England team as a result. He is mulling over his future and could potentially look to leave as early as January.
The likes of Atletico Madrid and Juventus have a well-documented interest in Madueke, while Arsenal stand to make a healthy profit should he eventually depart the club permanently.
Quansah still a target
Arsenal remain interested in Bayer Leverkusen defender Jarell Quansah, according to Sky Germany.
The England star is expected to leave Leverkusen next summer and is being courted by numerous high-profile suitors, including Chelsea and Real Madrid, while Liverpool hold a buy-back clause in the region of €70m.
Arsenal already showed an interest in Quansah this summer, but he was not for sale. Despite signing Ezri Konsa instead, the Gunners could still look to bring in the Leverkusen star anyway.
Rice deal imminent
Declan Rice is on the verge of signing a new contract at Arsenal, Fabrizio Romano understands.
With Mikel Arteta’s fresh terms wrapped up, the midfielder is next in line. FootballTransfers already revealed last month that Rice is set to commit his future to the reigning Premier League champions.
Romano has confirmed that “Arsenal are closing in on a new deal” for the England dynamo. Rice is expected to receive a pay rise as part of his new contract to reflect his importance to Arteta’s project.
