Players, coaches and officials of Super Accurate Football Academy of Ikotun, Lagos are eager to get victory during the first match they will play with their set of brand new jerseys, Sports247 reports.
This declaration was made by the team’s captain, Ayobami Obed (aka IndoMie), who reckoned that the best way to set things in motion with a new set of jerseys is to win with it from the word go.
He added that the team’s coach, Idris Adewale Oseni (aka Super) has pulled the players’ ears, with a stern warning that they must not lose when they line out for the first time in the flashy navy blue coloured kit.
“We just have to win our first match with this new jersey. In fact, the jersey is too fine for us to start it with losing. That’s something that will not happen, because we are all determined to win any match we play with this jersey, especially the first one,” said Ayo.
His words were echoed by one of the team’s most promising attackers, Quyum Olarewaju, who added that they are all still disappointed with how they lost in the quarter-finals of this year’s Seamoriow U15 League Championship and they want to make atonement by winning many matches with the new jersey.
Quyum projected, “This jersey will motivate us to go with full force in the first match that we play with it. We are not happy with what happened at Seamoriow Cup and we must use this jersey to recover.
“Although I was the highest goal scorer in Seamoriow competition, I would have preferred winning the cup; so that the whole team would celebrate better together. That one is gone. Now we have to win our first match with this new jersey.”
Sports247 gathered further that the new jersey is already being used as team uniform for all age categories of Super Accurate Football Academy in Ikotun, as well as by kids at their affiliate team based in Ikenne, Ogun State.
