The NFL has drastically slashed ticket prices for Sunday’s clash between the Colts and Commanders in London amid sluggish sales.
League bosses took the unusual step of discounting remaining seats for the showdown in an effort to fill the 62,000-seat Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
According to the Associated Press, around 2,000 tickets remained unsold just 10 days before kickoff, prompting officials to trigger multiple price reductions.
Seats that initially commanded up to £245 ($325) have now been slashed down to £79 ($105), including tickets in premium seating sections.
Cheaper upper-bowl tickets, which originally went on sale for £185 ($245), were initially dropped to £115 ($152) before being reduced all the way to £79.
The league is also offering half-price tickets to students as part of an aggressive push to shift remaining tickets ahead of the weekend showdown.

The heavy discounting has infuriated UK-based supporters who bought their tickets early at full price.
‘They don’t care about the fans,’ London native and 2025 NFL International Fan of the Year Andy Burrows told AP.
‘As long as that place sells out and it looks good on TV, the NFL won’t care about us. And I’m not alone. I speak to fans every day.’
The NFL relies heavily on its International Series to showcase American football to a global audience, making the prospect of noticeable empty seats a major headache for executives.
Sunday’s contest marks the 12th regular-season NFL game staged at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where official attendance has never previously dropped below 60,000.
The matchup is the first of three consecutive fixtures in London this season, alongside European games scheduled in Madrid, Munich and Paris.
While Week 5’s clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham has already sold out, thousands of unsold tickets reportedly remain for Jacksonville’s Week 6 game against the Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium.
The Daily Mail has reached out to the NFL for comment.
