Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team midfielder, Oluwakemi Adegbuyi, has been named the Best Player of the WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup.
Adegbuyi was recognised for her impressive performances as the Flamingos emerged champions of the regional competition.
The midfielder, who wore the number 14 shirt, played an important role throughout Nigeria’s successful campaign and stood out for her performances in the tournament.
The individual award is another major achievement for Adegbuyi, who was recently named Best Player of the WAFU-B Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
Her back-to-back individual honours underline her growing profile and consistent performances on the regional stage.
Adegbuyi’s award also adds to Nigeria’s success in the WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup, with the Flamingos finishing the competition as champions.
